There are MANY positive things happening in and around Linden Hill
|
|
Change to Linden Hill Bylaws - In accordance with our bylaws, the Linden Hill Homes Association Board of Directors completed and recorded the final count for our Special Election (vote for or against transferring 66 townhome units to Linden Woods LLC). The results are: For transferring – 188, against transferring – 2. New Fire Station and Trailside Center is one of the greatest things to happen to our area. The fire station is state of the art and the Trailside Center is a proud addition. Linden Hill homeowners have contributed to the museum in the center, which is run by the Historical Society of New Santa Fe. Our own Linden Hill President, Chuck Loomis, is Manager of the center and it can be reserved through him for your non-profit meetings. Chuck's number is 942-3724. Trail Extension - Can you believe we live so close to the hiking/biking trail? What an amenity this is for us. Presently, it ends at 99th & Holmes behind the fire station, but construction of the extension will begin soon. 3-Trails Village Community Improvement District
is a historic district in our area. It is the only place in the United
States where the Santa Fe, Oregon and California trails converged during
the pioneers trek toward settling the west.

this site to read all about the exciting projects in this district.
Eventually, the Katy Trail will come into Kansas City on the southeast.
We also believe that the repurposed Richards-Gebauer airport will have
an enormous, positive influence on south Kansas City. Bulky Pickup and Leaf & Brush Disposal The next bulky item pickup is Sept17th. Bulky Item pickup is always on the 17th of the month on ODD months. Leaves & Brush can be disposed of on Saturdays only at I-470 and Raytown Road. See the city's web site for more details: http://www.kcmo.org/pubworks.nsf/web/bulkyitem2004 Linden Hill Home of the Quarter The new Lydia bridge was dedicated on July 22, 2004 as the Jim Bridger Bridge. Please see the photo gallery for pictures of this gala occasion.
